We have just arrived back from our ten day cruise through the South Pacific on the Dawn. Really really lovely. Nothing to do except relax, enjoy the ports, bask in the sun and let someone else cook for us and make up our room. Unfortunately I had to contend with motion from the ocean but it has not deterred me from further cruising.

Hi there,

This IS the site I have been looking for.

My husband and I, along with 2 friends from New Zealand booked the 10-day cruise (initially to be around Vanuatu), which ended up being a 7-day cruise with different destinations.

Unfortunately the Pacific Star was still in dry dock when we arrived in Brisbane and of course we were all disappointed.

However from thereon everything was great. We were accommodated at the Crowne Plaza at Surfers Paradise and had a wonderful time. We hired a car and took our NZ friends to Byron Bay, Mt. Tambourine etc and filled in every minute we had.

Then our next adventure began. From the minute we boarded the Pacific Star our whole experience was exceptional. EVERYTHING was more than we expected, even the cabin was bigger than I anticipated. So much entertainment and not enough time to experience everything on offer. Our cabin staff, Erry and Tutu were wonderful as were our dining staff, Christian and Jeronimo.

I believe the 10 days of entertainment were crammed into 7 days so we didn't miss anything. The shows were fantastic and we didn't miss attending once. Adam is the perfect Cruise Director and we loved Sandy too.

I picked up my new cruise brochure only one week after returning and can't wait to do it all again. Thank you P&O.

Just a short note to thank you for all your assistance with the bookings for my flights, cruise, accommodation and transfers etc.

We had a terrific time and everything went smoothly. Nothing went wrong.

I'm glad you 'convinced' me to take the First Class Flights Sydney/Dubai/Sydney. It was worth it. It was a bit of a let down doing the Dubai/Milan/Rome in Economy afterwards. The only negative comment I could make was that I thought the planes were getting a little old.

The cruise was excellent, as were the staff and the ship - very modern decor - the cabin was good - no complaints at all (except for the hair dryer) - and too much food!

We were really impressed with the hotel in Rome you recommended - the Valadier. It was absolutely beautiful and the location was great. We availed ourselves of the roof top restaurant and the downstairs bar! I only wish we could have spent more time in Rome. Even though I had been there before, there is so much to see and do! I'll have to start saving for my next trip.

Once again, thanks for all your efforts to make our trip enjoyable and hassle free - it was much appreciated.

The question is - at the bottom of the Alaskan Cruise for $439 was a note that port costs are $480. Is this on top of the $439 making the total cost of the 7 day cruise $919?

Hi Monika,

The cruise was just wonderful... We had a wonderful dining table group and met some lovely people. I was very surprised at the spaciousness and comfort of cabins and the amazing service provided by P&O.

Had an interesting experience in Noumea where we did not think we would make it back in time to the ship for departure, we were stuck in the ghetto of Noumea. (I suggested we catch the local bus to see the sights and the bus terminated miles out of Noumea in the ghetto area.) I hailed down the Gendarmerie who sped us to the boat, it was a very anxious and comical episode, particularly for the couple from Cairns who had never travelled outside Australia and decided to hang around with David and I. (you know, the so-called experienced travellers!!!) However, once they settled back on board with a few drinks, it was the highlight of the trip.

Would highly recommend a cruise.

Hi Monika,

At last after all the unpacking and washing and ironing I have a few moments to let you know about our recent cruise on the Tahitian Princess.

From the moment we left Sydney on a very new Air Tahiti Nui plane we knew we were going to have a great holiday ... we boarded the T.P. around 11.30am on Tuesday morning and by 1pm we were in our lovely mini suite. We set sail early next morning for Moorea and from then on we had a wonderful time on board the T.P. meeting lots of new friends and experiencing fabulous weather. The highlight of the whole cruise would have to have been the wonderful crossing of the equator ceremony. We found the staff on the Tahitian Princess to be very obliging especially our table stewards and the food in the dining room to be excellent.

I would definitely recommend this cruise for the wonderful itinerary and the beautiful small ship. It was so easy to get around and it never felt crowded.

This is Jeff from Wallaroo SA. You booked us on the Pacific Sun out of Sydney to Noumea departing 9th of June on a real cheapie at $799.

When we got to our rooms we got a window room and that started it off. Everything went just superbly...

Just to let you know we are happy customers and will be cruising somewhere next year about this time, (maybe early July) and it will either be Hawaii bound cruising or out of Singapore. We will be using your company again. Everything went like clockwork from your aspect.

The cruise was excellent, with terrific shows, and piano bar got a thumping as did my booze bill.

I thought the price of wine and beer and cocktails was reasonable. At $4.50 for a beer and $20 for a bottle of wine and $7.50 for a cocktail, then it meant we could have a couple more and hence there was a good mood amongst the ship.

The buffet was excellent although ya can’t stuff up a buffet. The silver service dining was OK. Certainly the service was excellent... we had an absolute fabulous time and will go again somewhere soon.

We would like to thank you for all your help with our cruise to the Greek Isles with NCL.

We arrived home on Monday and are pleased to say it was a great trip. Everything you arranged worked perfectly.

Our suite on the ship was excellent - I would compare it with 4 star accommodation in a hotel. King size bed, sitting area, balcony, separate toilet, vanity & bath/shower...

We loved the Swissotel Merchant Court in Singapore - thanks to your recommendation. The rooms were very good and the staff friendly. The location was excellent next to Clarke Quay & Riverside, and also the MRT.

I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The Best Western Empire Palace in Turkey was also very good. Excellent location and staff were very friendly...

We will definitely be cruising again and will be contacting you to make our travel arrangements.

We had an unreal epic voyage on the mighty Sapphire Princess. It was just unreal, I am an experienced cruiser it was the best ship I have ever been on for service, food, entertainment and facilities. Aboard the P & O Cruise liner the Sun Princess, we had the best service by all of their staff; I cannot praise the service enough. The food was in abundance and of top quality; I should know the kilos have crept on. The entertainment was fabulous. I cannot believe there is so much to do on a cruise. But you can do as much or as little as you like, the choice is yours, which makes it very relaxing.

We have made some great friend’s from the cruise and keep in regular contact; we are also planning another cruise in 2008.

Just a couple of lines to say how much I enjoyed the cruise. The cabin was excellent. No view of a boat only icebergs and the like. Weather was fantastic. No sea sickness whatsoever. Connections to time and the hotels all well sited.

So well done Monika, I loved it all and felt sated in BA with no desire to rush off to Iguazzo Falls. Another trip!
