TAFE Graduate Helpdesk/Programmer for the Travel IT Industry
Best Flights a leading Australian online travel agency's IT department is seeking an enthusiastic TAFE trained graduate junior possessing proven problem solving ability and computer skills to join their Leederville office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain an entry level position into the IT industry.
In this role you will act as the technical support for internal helpdesk queries, maintain our network, and websites as well as participate in the development of exciting development projects within the online travel industry.
Essential
- Experience or knowledge of Hardware & Software fault diagnosis and installation
- Capable of lifting & relocating PCs, monitors & printers
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintaining information in key data systems
- Basic programming knowledge of Php, MySQL, javascript, CSS and perl
- Flexibility to work rosters between the hours of 6am - 8pm.
Desirable
- Completion of a computer related certificate
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to manage & prioritise tasks
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
