Fantasia

Introduction

The MSC Fantasia is the largest cruise ship ever built for a European ship owner. She has 1,637 cabins, 80% with an ocean view and many with private balconies. What’s more, this state of the art cruise ship features an eco-friendly design to safeguard the environment without sacrificing the comfort of guests. On board you will discover a first in the MSC fleet: the MSC Yacht Club, offering a privileged cruising experience with an elegant décor of oak walls, Italian marble and illuminated Swarovski crystal stairs. This exclusive area includes a library, skydome pool and private lounge where a transparent ceiling allows guests to gaze at the Mediterranean night sky. Enjoy high tea served by your butler and sip or relax in the Yacht Club’s exclusive Observation Lounge with “captain’s views.” Ultimately, MSC Fantasia is perfectly designed for luxury cruising to a spectacular array of destinations. From the world-famous authentic Italian cuisine to the personal attention and friendliness of an Italian crew, all guests are treated to the finest Italian hospitality afloat.

Accommodation
MSC Fantasia offers a large percentage of cabins and suites with balconies, allowing guests to privately enjoy the ocean views. Room service is available 24 hours. Light continental breakfast (0745 to 1000 hrs) is free of charge on all days except arrival morning in home port. All cabins have  private facilities plus a telephone, television, hair dryer and safe.

Facilities
Greater in length than the height of the Eiffel Tower, MSC Fantasia offers countless cruising pleasures, such as the Aurea Spa wellbeing centre with thermal cave for relaxation and rejuvenation. For the kids, the children’s play area includes a swimming pool with waterslide. You can also test your skills at the Formula 1 simulators, surf the net in a Wi-Fi zone or enjoy basketball, tennis, swimming and miniature golf.

Dining
Choose from six restaurants including El Sombrero Tex Mex with an open kitchen; L'Etoile, a lovely French restaurant and Zanzibar, a panoramic restaurant serving Italian regional specialities. There are two dining sittings with assigned seating and on a normal 7-night cruise there will be two "formal" nights, with the remainder "neat casual."

Entertainment
The magnificent theatre seats 1,700 with exciting live entertainment each night, or catch a movie at the interactive 4-D cinema. You will be sure to find a “favourite spot” in one of the eight indoor bars or try a refreshing drink on deck in any of the three outdoor bars.
