For an insight into Japanese culture, you can't beat the temples and shrines at Kamakura or browsing the stalls adjacent to Tokyo’s Asakusa Kannon Temple. Historic Hiroshima and Pusan, Korea’s second largest city, beckon next. Spend time immersing yourself in the events that have left their indelible mark on these places. More history abounds as you arrive in Xingang from where you can take the opportunity to visit the Great Wall of China or stay in Beijing and explore the newly transformed city. Enjoy a full day in the teeming metropolis of Shanghai, before returning to Hong Kong.
